The rotor has a DC armature, with commutator segments and brushes.<\/p>\n<p>Applications of the<strong>\u00a0Permanent Magnet DC Motor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong><b>PMDC motors<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0are used in various applications ranging from fractions to several horsepower. \u00a0They are developed up to about 200 kW for use in various industries.
